Ideas behind the animation

The animation is about depression and how undetectable it is. Since the demographic I was looking was the 20s and homeless, the idea relates to how youth can be easily mistaken as healthy. The project is about reducing depression with awareness but the hospital design is about turning negativity into positivity. The animation starts off by portraying depression as it is jagged and edgy. Later in the animation, it is about about how blurred reality is when the building is quite modern. The underlying ideas are earth and how it feels inviting yet cautious, risky challenges symbolizing to get to places, it takes courage and persistence, and the last idea of turning negativity into positive energy. Through the actions of more thought out activities in later models, the end result will be a building that is structurally feasible and maintains the abstract meaning of depression.

If the music credits don't show it is...
